This book could easily be your only crochet for babies book. It includes clothes, accessories, toys, and a variety of blankets. There are even some great stashbusters, like a hot/cold pack, mobile, pacifier clip, bibs, and of course, lots more.
Suggested yarn is also something that you would likely find in your stash.

I love making lovies for gifts for new babies. They're a lot quicker than stuffed animals, but they still have a cute little animal head so it's more than just a blanket.
This book has a similar mix and match approach as Edward's Menagerie, and the mini blankets are more interesting that your regular lovie pattern.

Favorite pattern: My favorite season is the fall of the patriarchy. Also, the floral wreaths are beautiful in your own right and can easily be used alone with a quote of your own.

Great book for beginning crochet and continuing to build your skills. The book teaches you a variety of stitches and different techniques with very good pictorial representation. since it offers a variety of patterns at different difficulty levels.

I am still looking for the ultimate cross stitch alphabets book, but this one does have a nice variety.

Similar to the Crochet book by DK, this book has a variety of patterns, but more clothing focused than the Crochet version. Great pictures and helpful instruction.

A great book for beginners and experienced punch needle crafters. Includes information on recommended materials and how to build a punch needle frame. Beautiful patterns, too.
