The American Law Reports (ALR) contain detailed discussions of specific areas of law, called "annotations." The ALRs are made up of three sets: American Law Reports, American Law Reports: Federal, and American Law Reports: International. There are several series within the original and federal sets. The Schmid Law Library has print copies of these volumes that can be found in the stacks in the south side on the first floor of the library. ALR annotations can also be found on Westlaw and Lexis.
There are several annotations that discuss the Magnuson Fishery Conservation and Management Act. These include: 14 A.L.R. Fed. 2d 547, 30 A.L.R. Fed. 2d 411, 31 A.L.R. Fed. 2d 337, 35 A.L.R. Fed. 2d 421, and 36 A.L.R. Fed. 2d 31.
There are also many annotations that discuss environmental impact statements under Sec. 102(2)(c) of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 U.S.C.A. 4332(2)(c)). Use the ALR index to find these annotations.
