Finding Compiled 50 State Surveys

Compiled 50 state surveys can be found in several places. In print, National Survey of State Laws and Subject Compilations of State Laws are excellent resources. National Survey of State Laws contains the full text of the surveys. Subject Compilations of State Laws lists the locations of 50 state surveys in other publications. Both of these resources can also be found online on HeinOnline.  

Use these links to go directly to 50 state survey pages in Lexis+ and Westlaw Precision. In Bloomberg Law, there are two main methods to find 50 state surveys. Select Bloomberg's Chart Builders, listed under Practitioner Tools to find a highly customizable, simple, and quick way to automatically generate a 50 state survey.  Alternatively, select "All Content" and type "state survey" in the select sources search bar on the homepage to find Chart Builders and several state surveys listed in the drop-down menu.
